Financial compliance technology provider Saifr has integrated its AI models into Microsoft Azure’s AI model catalog, enabling Microsoft customers to screen content for regulatory compliance issues, the company said in a news release. The models can detect compliance risks in marketing materials, suggest alternative language and assess image content for compliance concerns.
Saifr, created by Fidelity Investments’ software incubator Fidelity Labs in 2020, developed the models using compliance-curated data reviewed by subject matter experts. The tools can be integrated into chatbots, large language models and other applications used in financial services.
“Harnessing AI’s power in regulated fields requires careful oversight and domain expertise,” said Saifr CEO Vall Herard. “Saifr is somewhat like a grammar check for regulatory compliance. Adding our capabilities to Microsoft’s products that professionals already use can help them produce more compliant content much faster while helping reduce risk.”
