Governance software provider Kuberno recently announced completion of a $4.4 million Series A funding round led by Nasdaq Ventures, the investment arm of the NASDAQ stock exchange.
As part of the funding round, Kuberno will also launch a commercial partnership with Nasdaq Governance Solutions, which is expected to result in Kuberno’s tech being integrated into Nasdaq’s suite.
Kuberno’s Kube platform launched in 2021 and recently announced an integration with Insidertrack, an insider list management solution developed by Cytec and used by almost half of the FTSE 100, composed of the 100 largest companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.
“Nasdaq was our dream partner — we are aligned on mission and values and are both committed to promoting best practice in governance for companies,” Zoe Bucknell, CEO and co-founder of Kuberno, said in the news release. “Our collaboration with Nasdaq Ventures enables us to launch Kube into the global market, building on the strong, sustainable foundations we have laid over the last three years. Now more than ever, we are witnessing a greater emphasis on governance at the board and investor level as well as an increased appetite for governance tech. I look forward to working closely with the Nasdaq Governance Solutions team to help our customers reach the gold-standard in governance.”
