ARLINGTON, VA – The Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI) is pleased to announce its new hands-on interactive Best Practice Forum, “Is Your E&C Program Working?” at the Loews Hotel, New Orleans, La., Oct. 27-29, 2015. The Best Practice Forum, the next generation of the Ethics & Compliance Association Sponsoring Partner Forum, is open to ECI organizational members and organizational partners.
This innovative event, created in response to member requests for real-world assessments and expert input on their ethics and compliance (E&C) programs, provides a unique immersion experience where attendees’ E&C teams will learn from evaluation leaders about how to demonstrate the impact of their E&C programs, and get advice on their existing efforts. The forum will also allow practitioners to get valuable insight from industry peers about the evaluation techniques that work.
In a special plenary session, forum participants will learn about the measures of success that are important to enforcement officials from:
- Andrew Weissmann, Chief, Fraud Section, Criminal Division, U.S. Department of Justice
- Interview with Mr. Weissmann conducted by Paul McNulty, Former Deputy Attorney General, U.S. Department of Justice; Of Counsel, Baker-McKenzie
Attendees will also participate in discussions led by these leading E&C program design and evaluation experts:
- Ann Doucette, Ph.D., Director, The Evaluators’ Institute; Midge Smith Center for Evaluation Effectiveness, Research Professor, George Washington University
- Doreen Cavanaugh, Ph.D., Research Professor, McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University
“Our inaugural Best Practice Forum provides a roll-up-your-sleeves opportunity for our members to learn how to most effectively demonstrate how well their E&C programs are doing,” said Patricia Harned, Ph.D., CEO, ECI. “Attendees will come away with their own dynamic action plan to prove that their company’s E&C program makes a positive difference.”
The ECI Best Practice Forum is structured for multiple members of each E&C team to attend; therefore, group discounts are available. Registration for the forum is $875 per person for four or more attendees from one organization; $925 for two or three attendees from one organization; and $1,000 for one attendee. Attendees are also eligible for an exclusive rate at the Loews Hotel in New Orleans through Sept. 18.
