Trust management platform Drata has agreed to acquire SafeBase, an enterprise trust center solution provider, in a deal expected to close in February. The acquisition aims to create a comprehensive platform for managing compliance, vendor risk and governance requirements. Terms were not disclosed.
SafeBase, founded in 2020, serves over 1,000 organizations including OpenAI, Twilio and LinkedIn, helping drive approximately $15 billion in security-enabled revenue through its trust centers. The company’s technology reduces time spent on security questionnaires by up to 98%. The deal comes amid increasing demand for trust management solutions driven by stricter AI regulations, cloud dependency and rising security risks.
“Trust is now a competitive advantage that rests on a combination of speed and tangible proof,” said Adam Markowitz, CEO of Drata. “Together with SafeBase, we are empowering customers to continuously ensure and proactively communicate security, compliance and trust — with unrivaled market advantage.”
