Cority, an EHS software provider, has appointed a new chief product officer, Ted Kail, who most recently served in the same role at Gordian.
“Ted’s background as CPO of a company twice the size of Cority, combined with his time building a startup that exited to private equity, showcases the rare balance of discipline and process as well as an understanding of the importance of creativity and action,” Mark Wallace, Cority CEO, said in a news release. “His unique experience will be crucial to leading our product team in developing people-first solutions that reinforce our mission to drive better, more responsible decision making and bring valuable insights to a wider audience.”
Kail spent about 10 years at Gordian, a construction cost data software provider, after about eight years at Sightlines, a facilities benchmarking data provider in higher education, which Gordian acquired in 2015.
