Computershare has released an artificial intelligence upgrade to its Global Entity Management System (GEMS) platform designed to streamline legal entity management for large companies. The new AI functionality, available now through standard browsers and mobile apps, aims to enhance how organizations manage corporate data and compliance obligations.
The AI-powered system extracts key data from corporate documents, provides real-time compliance insights using natural language queries, analyzes contractual obligations and drafts corporate resolutions based on company templates, the company said in a news release. Computershare Entity Solutions, the company’s recently renamed governance services business, has implemented security measures to protect client data as the system learns from interactions.
“Artificial intelligence solutions, such as GEMS AI, have the potential to reshape entity management completely,” said Andrew Moore, co-CEO of Computershare Entity Solutions. “Already we have seen how GEMS AI can provide clients increased insights into their entity data through natural language queries and how it can streamline complex tasks and functions as the system constantly learns, grows and improves.”
