Trevor Wiles and Hugh Bigwood
Trevor Wiles is a Partner at Forensic Risk Alliance. Trevor has over 28 years of experience providing forensic services – in particular, leading investigations into allegations of serious fraud and misconduct, regulatory issues and the root causes of compliance failures.
In recent years, Trevor has investigated allegations of bribery and corruption, accounting misstatement, embezzlement, procurement fraud, sanction breaches, channel stuffing and asset misappropriation for organizations in a variety of industry sectors, including energy and natural resources, financial services, telecoms, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. Trevor also advises clients on the implementation of robust compliance programs, including ABC and anti-fraud programs. This includes helping clients to undertake fraud and compliance risk assessments and to introduce proportionate controls to mitigate identified risks.
Hugh Bigwood is a Consultant at HB Compliance Limited, where he helps companies develop their compliance programs. Until recently, he was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Evercare Group, a private equity-backed platform managing a variety of hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya and Nigeria. Prior to Evercare, he held senior compliance roles at LivaNova plc (a medium-sized U.S. medical device company), Rio Tinto (a large, global mining company) and Abbott Laboratories (a U.S.-headquartered pharmaceutical and medical device company). Hugh has also held a number of legal positions at Abbott, Pliva (a Croatian-based generics company), Cultor (a Finnish multinational involved in the food industry) and Pfizer (a global R&D-based pharmaceutical company).
